Zu der künstlerischen Arbeit von Anneli Furmark

Anneli Furmark is a visual artist and writer living in Umeå in the north of Sweden. She makes paintings, drawings and graphic novels, quite often graphic novels with paintings in them. Three of her books are released in France too. The most recent one is called Hiver Rouge, the Red Winter, (Editions çà et là), 2015. The graphic novels are often about people messing around in northern landscapes, discussing things like love and politics and what nature does to you and vice versa. Anneli likes drawing and listening to music at the same time. She also likes to sit in trains and buses and make sketches of people and landscapes.
